Portraits

Sarah Hall Photography specializes in family and children portraiture but also offers a wide variety of other portrait services.

Session fee includes:

• Pre-session consultation
• Photographer’s time & talent for up to 2 hours
• Your choice of 1 to 2 outdoor locations
• 30-50 fully-edited digital proofs
• 6 months access to a password-protected online gallery

*Session fee does not include digital files or printed products.

After your session…

• There is a minimum product order requirement of $200 for all sessions.
• 8X10 prints start at $35 and portrait collections begin at $425.
• Any print or book purchase comes with a complimentary web-sized digital file (for sharing on facebook, etc.).

Portrait Services

Sarah Hall Photography specializes in family and children portraiture, including immediate and extended families, children of all ages, and high school seniors. Portrait services are also available for couples (e.g. engaged, newlywed, or expecting) and performing artists.

Sessions

Each $125 portrait session lasts approximately 1 to 2 hours, depending on group type & size and the number of locations. You may choose up to 2 locations. Location options range from natural areas (such as a forest, lake, trail, or field) to urban or rustic environments. Indoor sessions are reserved for newborns and infants only. Wardrobe changes are encouraged.

Special Note: Newborn portrait sessions, occurring when the baby is under 1 month old (ideally between 6-10 days old), can often run 3-4 hours in length. The price for a newborn session is $175.

Proofs

After your session you can expect 30-50 digital proofs which are a specially chosen set of shots that represent the best of all the images taken that day. The next step involves an extensive post-production editing process completed in the “digital darkroom” where your images will be taken up a notch in quality and creativity to achieve a unique artistic vision. The final proofs you see in your online gallery are polished and enhanced in such a way to create truly beautiful images.

All Sarah Hall Photography products are created and printed with the utmost concern for superior design & quality. After your session, you will have the opportunity to purchase several different exciting products both a la carte and bundled in discounted portrait collections. Gift prints start at $35 and portrait collections start at $425. All sessions have a minimum order requirement of $200.

You can expect high quality results with prints from Sarah Hall Photography. Your photos are printed by a professional lab (i.e. not Walmart) on high-quality Kodak Professional Supra Endura VC Digital Paper (Matte Finish) and carry an archival value of 100-200 years.

When your print is prepared, not only are the necessary adjustments made to accommodate the size you choose, but just the right amount of sharpening & touch-ups are applied so that your print comes out looking clean & crisp.

Gift Prints & Wall Prints:

• Gift prints are any prints sized 8X10 or smaller that you plan to set on your desk, give to Grandma for Christmas, or pass out to friends.
• Wall prints decorate your home. Sizes begin at 11X14 and go up to 24X36. All wall prints are mounted on double-weight mat board (shown at right). Frames & mats are not included.

Canvas takes your beautiful prints up to the next level of elegance–imagine hanging a gorgeous piece of artwork on your wall that looks like it belongs in a museum or an art gallery! Canvas print sizes begin at 11X14 and go up to 24X36. All canvas prints are mounted and wrapped around a 1.5″-width wooden stretcher frame, ready to hang.

The Session Album

• 10X10 inches, 24 pages, lay-flat spread, real photo paper, genuine leather hard-cover bound
• This superior quality photobook album includes all of the best photos from your session creatively arranged in a story-board fashion and complemented by beautiful nature images or custom designs serving as backgrounds.  The finished product is an elegant coffee-table style book that you can enjoy for years to come.

The Accordion Book

• 4X8 inches, Accordion-style: 7 panels
• This contemporary alternative to a traditional book presents beautiful photographs of your choice in a stylish and conveniently-sized book.

The Mini Accordion Book

• 3X3 inches, Accordion-style: 10 panels
• A mini version of the Accordion Book, this book fits right in your purse and is great to show to people when you’re on the go!

Alphabet Book

• 7X7 inches, 28 pages, hard cover
• This educational and special book presents the alphabet in which each letter is represented with a photo (e.g. A is for Apple), but with a special twist—any photos of your child and other family members present at your session are used to personalize your book (e.g. J is for Johnny, M is for Mommy, D is for Daddy, S is for Sister, F is for Family, etc.)

My Name Book

• 7X7 inches, 20-40 pages (determined by length of name), hard cover
• This fun book helps your young child learn how to spell his or her name using pictures from your session in addition to other creative Sarah Hall Photography images.

God’s Creation Book

• 7X7 inches, 40 pages, hard cover
• This beautiful book is filled with Sarah Hall original nature photography and takes your young child on a journey through God’s creation, from oceans & lakes to birds & butterflies. The final page is customized to include your favorite family photo from your session (“God created my family!”).

FAQ – How to carefully enjoy your book with your young child

Senior Rep Cards

• A modern alternative to wallet prints and perfect for Seniors, these 1.375X3.5-inch cards are specially designed and come with a silver tin carrying case.

Panel Prints

• Measuring 5X30″, these mounted prints are designed to showcase 5 to 7 of your favorite images panel-style with a stylish border.

Payment Options—The session fee is due in full at the time of your session. You may pay with check or cash. After placing your session order, you will receive an invoice via email with the option to pay with your credit card, check, or cash. Payment plans are available.

Tax—5.5% Wisconsin sales tax will apply to all session fees and products.

Travel Surcharge—To cover the extra time and gas, there is a $25 surcharge for session locations that fall outside of a 20-mile radius of the city of Rhinelander. For 60+ miles, request a custom travel surcharge quote.
